Every business owner has specific employee benefit needs. To address and meet these needs our franchisees group program provides a variety of choices.

MEC Medical

MEC benefits cover 100% of the cost of certain preventive health services, when delivered by a doctor or provider in your plan’s network.

MVP Medical

MVP plan benefits include preventive health services, telemedicine/virtual care, primary care visits, specialist visits, urgent care, lab/radiology services, inpatient and outpatient hospitalization, emergency room services, outpatient mental health, and non-specialty prescription drugs.

Dental

Dental can be added to any plan to provide employees with complete coverage.

Vision

Vision can be added to any plan to provide employees with complete coverage.

All HUB employees have been specifically trained and certified to be part of the HUB International Insurance Program. We have various service teams around the U.S. dedicated to the HUB International Insurance Program. HUB team members are specifically trained on the program to offer constancy, streamlined processes and best in class service.

MVP Products

Standard Benefit Plan Designs Employers choose to offer 3 Limited Day Minimum Value Enhanced Plans (MVP) (Bronze Plus, Silver and Gold).

Employer Billing/Invoices Invoices are sent via email to the client’s billing email address. Monthly Plan fees are standardly remitted via ACH on or about the 1st business day of each month.

ID Cards Enrolled participants will receive a Health Plan ID card from the TPA. The ID card will include information on the Plan’s Medical and Pharmacy coverage.

FAQ

What employee can a Plan sponsor deem eligible for coverage?

Full-time, part-time, hourly, salaried, and seasonal employees are eligible for coverage.

When do dependents terminate coverage after turning age 26?

Dependent coverage will terminate at the end of the month in which the dependent turns age 26, unless the law requires an extension due to disability, etc.

Can I get diagnostic tests (lab, x-ray, complex imaging)?

Yes, MVPs cover non-hospital-based labs, radiology, and advanced imaging, as well as hospital-based labs. MECs do not cover outpatient diagnostic services, which must be done in an office or freestanding facility. Non-emergent imaging services rendered in a hospital setting are not covered under a MEC plan.

Does my plan cover dependent maternity benefits?

Yes, this is considered an in-patient hospital visit for MVPs. MEC plans do not cover maternity services for dependent children.

Do any of the Tres Health plans designs cover infertility treatment?

No, Infertility treatment is not a covered service.

What should I do if my claim is denied because the physician's office is owned by a hospital system?

Call your Customer Service Team and explain the situation. Elective diagnostic tests are covered at standalone facilities but not covered at a hospital.

Will non-US citizens be able to secure coverage?

Yes, Employees with a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), may be eligible for Tres Health plan designs.

Will my plan cover service for diagnosis or treatment for sleep apnea?

Most MVPs cover sleep apnea services, aside from the Core $0 deductible Plan. MEC Plans do not cover the diagnosis or treatment of sleep apnea or CPAP machines.

Does my plan cover Private Duty Nursing or Skilled Nursing facilities?

No, there is no coverage for Private Duty Nursing or Skilled Nursing facilities.
