Chicago, September 23, 2024 — Hub International Limited (HUB), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that Brian Bazan has joined as Vice President Complex Placement Specialist for the Private Client Practice. In this new role, Bazan will be responsible for analyzing and creating solutions for complex risks including those exposed to hurricanes, wildfires and floods. These types of exposures are becoming more prevalent and a growing area of concern for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.

Bazan brings 17 years of underwriting experience and leadership to HUB. During his time with leading carriers, Bazan spent 10 years in California where he honed his expertise in underwriting challenging wildfire risks. Bazan also managed national underwriting teams with expertise in numerous catastrophic exposures. Additionally, Bazan was responsible for developing and building customized non admitted insurance programs with unique solutions such as quota shares, stop loss limits, annual aggregate limits, and blanket property policies.
