David Chmiel is a Senior Vice President and Central Region Practice Leader on the Claims team.  He has over 23 years of experience in claims and risk control consulting. His responsibilities include orchestrating risk management programs, claim advocacy, carrier and TPA audits, data analytics analysis, claim closure initiatives, quality service management and marketplace relationship management.  Prior to joining HUB, Mr. Chmiel was an adjuster and claim supervisor for Liberty Mutual and Wausau for ten years.  He then worked as a Regional President of Claims in the brokerage world for 12 years.  Mr. Chmiel has authored and orchestrated several risk management programs such as the HUB Injury Management program and Workers' Compensation Diagnostic program.

Matt Gilmore

Matt Gilmore

Senior Vice President 
Central Region Leader, Risk Services

Matt Gilmore is a Senior Vice President on the Risk Services team. He has over 22 years of experience in safety and health consulting. Currently, Mr. Gilmore leads the Central Region Risk Services team developing regional service strategies, providing technical service delivery to large clients, new business marketing, and supporting corporate education and operational objectives.  His risk consulting experience includes developing risk mitigation strategies by conducting risk assessments to evaluate risk management activities against industry best practices and implementing customized solutions for a wide variety of industries including healthcare, construction, wholesale and distribution, education, public entity, real estate, hospitality, and entertainment.  Prior to joining HUB, Mr. Gilmore was with Marsh USA as a Vice President. Previously, he was Senior Loss Control National Account Consultant at Travelers. Currently, he is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
