Here are some important things to know about our insurance for chiropodists:

• Professional liability insurance covers actual or alleged errors, omissions or negligent acts in your rendering of professional services to clients. Under our program, this coverage is written on a “claims-made” basis, meaning the insurance must be in force at the time a claim is reported to the insurance company. To ensure coverage for past services, it is important to maintain your insurance in force at all times.
• Professional liability coverage must be purchased in order to be eligible to purchase the other coverages offered.
• If you purchase optional entity coverage, the limit of liability must be the same as the professional liability limit.
• Property/crime coverage is not available for online purchase. Contact HUB if you’re interested in this coverage.

Note: Certificates are issued for a one-year term.
