Hub International Limited (HUB) has announced Liam Brown as National Healthcare and Life Sciences Specialty Practice Leader in Canada. Brown will oversee the practice’s strategic initiatives focused on delivering best-in-class solutions and services to healthcare and life sciences clients. He will also help grow the practice in Canada through talent recruitment and identifying new opportunities.
“With his experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries, Liam truly understands the market and will be a valuable resource for our team, both domestically and with U.S. - Canada cross-border opportunities,” said Peter Reilly, HUB’s North American Healthcare Practice Leader. “Liam has a unique skillset to help take our Healthcare Specialty Practice to the next level.”
Brown has been in the industry for the last 20 years, most recently at a niche specialty carrier in Canada. Prior to that, he worked at a global insurance brokerage firm. His passion for health innovation started with an Honours BSc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from University of Waterloo, followed by a Canadian Risk Management Designation (CRM) from the University of Toronto.
