Hub International Limited (HUB) has announced that Jean-François Beaulieu has been named President of HUB Quebec, effective January 1, 2024. Stephen Blais, who has been President of HUB Quebec and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will continue his responsibilities as CEO.

Beaulieu’s responsibilities include working closely with the local Executive Management Team to develop and implement initiatives to grow the business both organically and through M&As, to attract, develop and retain top talent, and to improve organizational efficiency.

“Jean-François’ knowledge of HUB and property & casualty insurance, combined with his results-driven personality and sales expertise, has led him to be a very successful Chief Sales Officer for nearly 10 years,” said Tina Osen, President of HUB Canada. “He demonstrates great leadership and has had an incredible impact on our business by recruiting top talent to the organization, supporting our M&A activities and ensuring that we deliver best-in-class service to clients in Quebec and across Canada.”

Beaulieu joined HUB in 2004 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. His main areas of expertise are in the real estate and hospitality industries. He has worked on a wide range of complex risks and international placements. As Chief Sales Officer, Beaulieu was responsible for organic growth and client retention for the Quebec region. He also led the Large Commercial Department to help grow the practice.

Prior to joining HUB in 2004, Beaulieu was an account manager at Marsh, followed by assistant vice president and account executive at Willis. Beaulieu received his bachelor’s degree in commerce, information technology and marketing from HEC Montréal.
