Personal InsuranceTravel Health Insurance
Members receive preferred annual group rates of $60 for a single insured or $144 for couple/family through the Allianz/Co-operators 60-Day Travel Program. The program does not require medical questions upon application; however, a stability clause as well as pandemic and travel advisory exclusions may apply.

Health, Dental and Disability Insurance
For farms without employees, KAP Members have access to Edge Benefits, the #1 provider of affordable benefits for the Canadian self-employed and small business markets. In addition, other customized plans are available to meet family health and budget needs.

Private Health Services Plan
The KAP PHSP is a CRA approved program for any farm business structure that provides owner and employee participants 100% non-taxable reimbursement from the farm business for their eligible medical expenses, while the farm business receives a 100% tax deduction for this reimbursement. The administrator, Serre Financial allows only CRA eligible claims under the program and assumes all risk and liability. KAP Members receive a $50 discount off the one-time $300 enrolment fee.

Group Life Insurance
Group Life Insurance is available to KAP Members, spouses, and employees for coverage up to $500,000. Annual group rates are age banded and start at $11.25 per $25,000 of coverage. Dependent Child coverage is also available up to $25,000.
KAP Members can also review their individual Estate Planning, Financial Planning and Risk Management needs with access to appropriate coverage options.

Protect yourself, your family, and your employees with KAP’s Group AD&D program. The program provides guaranteed coverage without any medical questions following accidental death, or if the insured sustained a permanent eligible physical loss caused by an accident.
Annual group rates start at $18 for individuals and $24 for families per $25,000 of coverage, up to a maximum of $500,000.

Medical Diagnostic Assistance and Telehealth Services
KAP Members have access to MyCare Health Benefit Option (HBO) and GOeVisit Telehealth at preferred rates. MyCare HBO provides expedited diagnostic assistance (in Canada), providing a confirmed diagnosis and treatment plan through one of the Centers of Excellence in the U.S. Members enrolled in MyCare HBO automatically gain access to GOeVisit Telehealth, which provides 24/7 virtual access to a medical practitioner licensed in Manitoba who can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for minor illnesses without the need for in-person treatment.
KAP Members save 20% with a monthly cost of only $8 per family. KAP Members that offer the program to employees receive a further reduced monthly rate of $4 per family.

Grain Marketing Program - CXN360
