Nakusp is situated in the Selkirk Mountains on the shores of the Arrow Lakes (Columbia River) In the West Kootenays. Nakusp is known for it's many natural hot springs that draw tourists to the area year round. Nakusp is also well known for it's outdoor activities like biking , hiking, golf, camping, skiing and snowmobiling as well as fishing on the sereen Arrow Lake.
