Chief Marketing Officer
Greg joined HUB in 2014 as SVP Marketing and Distribution and assumed his current role in 2015. He is responsible for the overall management of HUB’s local insurer relationships, enhancing and maximizing growth and profitability with insurance carriers, and ensuring HUB and its carrier partners meet their mutual business goals. In addition, Greg and his team support HUB’s business objectives through development of new leading edge insurance products/ programs, providing marketing support to win new business opportunities, and initiatives to enhance insurer partner relationships.
Greg began his career immediately following university in 1992 when he joined the commercial underwriting department of Chubb. In 1998, he moved to CNA as an underwriting manager and played an integral role in establishing the Calgary branch office. In 2003, he was promoted to branch manager of the Montreal office where he stayed until 2007 when he became VP Marine and moved to the Toronto head-office. Two years later, he was promoted to VP Marketing and Distribution, a role that called on his skills in sales, marketing and building broker relationships.
Greg holds a BA (Honours) from Queen’s University and has achieved the designations of FCIP and a CRM. He served as a director on the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters (CBMU) in 2007-08 and, since 2014, he has served as Chair of the Insurance Institute of Ontario’s Faculty Sub-Committee. Greg holds an insurance license in the province of Ontario.
