Ideal For
This program is designed for: All management personnel and HR personnel (workshop & mini-session)

Workplace violence is a tragedy too often featured in the news. Although it is human tendency to ignore the uncomfortable feelings that may be important signals of danger, managers need to learn to pay closer attention to those around the workplace, recognize threatening behavior, and notify those who can intervene.

In this workshop you will gain knowledge on how to:

  • Identify common causes and sources of workplace violence
  • Recognize warning signs and triggering events
  • De-escalate a potentially dangerous situation before it erupts
  • Take prevention measures that make a difference

*HR Professionals who attend the Ethics in the Workplace for Managers workshop are invited to stay and attend the mini-session from 11:00 – 12:00 to review additional materials that concentrate on HR processes and procedures (HRCI and SHRM credit will be awarded).
