HUB International’s Chehalis insurance office was founded by Virgil R. Lee in the Chehalis, Washington in 1924. His son, William R. Lee joined his father in business in 1946. Under the direction of the Lee family, the firm grew into one of the largest and most respected insurance agencies in Southwest Washington. Throughout the years, Virgil R. Lee & Son Insurance has been committed to serving the businesses and families of Southwest Washington to protect what matters most.

In 2006, Virgil R. Lee & Son, Inc. was acquired by Lovsted Worthington and continued to do business under the Virgil R. Lee name.  In 2015, Lovsted-Worthington was acquired by HUB International, a leading brokerage that provides a broad array of products and services; property casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management services. The acquisition of the Seattle, Bothell and Chehalis offices of Lovsted-Worthington created an opportunity to offer our clients the resources of a nationally-recognized firm, while retaining local management, long term relationships and the superior service our clients have come to know and trust.
