HUB International Winchester

The HUB International Winchester office, formerly Hatchett Insurance, was founded in 1954 by Kenneth Hatchett, as a family-owned independent insurance agency serving Cowan, Tennessee. Nelson Hatchett, our current principal, started his career at the agency in 1980 after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University. Under Nelson’s leadership, the agency has steadily grown, moving from Cowan to Winchester in 1992, and extending service to clients throughout Franklin County and the surrounding region. With its commitment to solid relationships through practical solutions and excellent services, Hatchett Insurance's reputation continued to grow. They made the 2018 Reagan Consulting Best Practices list for Tennessee, and, in 2019 were named the "Top Performing Best Practices Agency" under $1.25 million in revenue in the country. In 2020, Hatchett Insurance became a part of HUB International Mid-South, combining HUB's vast, specialized knowledge and resources with Hatchett's strong, local presence in southern Middle Tennessee.
