HUB International Spearfish

The HUB Spearfish SD insurance office was originally a combination of Baer's Insurance and the Richards-Sutfin Agency. In February of 1996 the office joined First Western Insurance, and in December of 2010 the agency was purchased by Herb Hill and continued to be known as First Western Insurance. In May of 2019 the office became part of HUB International Mountain States Region. Spearfish is unique in its blend of history, beauty, small-town charm and big city amenities. Spearfish's downtown area has been designated as one of 50 Best Small Town Downtowns in America by Best Choice Reviews. Spearfish is home to Black Hills State University, as well as a large retirement population. Beautiful Spearfish Canyon is easily accessible for biking and hiking adventures as well as fly fishing for trout or just a leisurely drive.
