Peel & Holland, a division of HUB International Mid-South, was founded in 1924 and joined HUB International in 2022. Now serving Kentucky as HUB | Peel & Holland, we are a full-service agency providing property and casualty insurance, surety and bonding, family insurance, and employee benefits plans. The team in our Paducah, KY office includes a team of risk advisors and client support experts who support some of our largest accounts as well as hundreds of local small business owners from McCracken County and over a dozen neighboring counties.

The HUB team in Paducah focuses on a wide variety of industries with significant expertise in public entity, marina, agriculture, education, construction, and healthcare. Our broader Kentucky-based team operates from seven regional offices, offering innovative risk management and insurance solutions for our clients. We strive to develop and implement customized proactive solutions to address each client’s unique risks.

Peel & Holland was founded in Benton, Kentucky in 1924 by Dwight Peel to serve local families and farmers. Peel was joined by partner Woodrow Holland in the late 1940’s. R.C. Riley, joined the company in 1965 and led the agency’s significant expansion until his retirement in 2005. R.C. was instrumental in expanding Peel & Holland’s scope of services as well as its geographic reach. Serving as the president of the Independent Insurance Agents of America, R.C. helped lead the insurance industry to meet the changing and growing demand for sound risk management practices. In the 1990’s, Peel & Holland founded its Employee Benefits and Public Entity divisions. These strategic offerings rounded out the services that clients still receive today.

In recent years, Peel & Holland received numerous Industry accolades including #1 Best Places to Work in Kentucky, Insurance Business America Top Insurance Employers, and Big I Best Practices Agency.

As we’ve done for over 100 years, our mission is to develop lasting partnerships with our clients by designing customized insurance programs.
