HUB International Owensboro

The Owensboro location of HUB, formerly known as Worth Insurance Group, a division of Peel & Holland, was founded by John Worth in 1974. Then called the John L. Worth Insurance Agency, the firm has served the local Owensboro region for decades. As Worth’s vision evolved over the years including a name change to Worth Insurance Group, his son Jason Worth joined the firm, helping to expand the company with a growing team of experts backed by technology and tools to make it easier to do business. Licensed in over 35 states, Worth Insurance Group offered auto, home, business, life, and individual health insurance.

In 2020, Worth Insurance Group further strengthened its team and carrier offerings by merging with Riddle Insurance of Madisonville, Kentucky. Through this relationship, Worth became part of the Peel & Holland family of companies. 

Now as a Kentucky-based HUB office, the same Owensboro team continues to grow, bringing clients access to multiple insurance options in the marketplace. We remain a full-service agency providing property and casualty insurance, surety and bonding, family insurance, and employee benefits plans. We focus on a wide variety of industries, with significant expertise in public entity, marina, automotive dealers, agriculture, education, construction, and healthcare.
