If you are or have a Certified Pedorthist on staff you need to be sure to check your insurance policy for pedorthic liability coverage. If your policy is not specifically endorsed to include this exposure it is not covered. Most policies exclude any kind of professional liability exposure. With the certification there are certain expectations about your skills and professionalism, and you can be sued if someone claims they were injured because of a shoe or insert you provided them.
