HUB’s Snap-on Franchisee Insurance Program
Practical Plans and Programs to Help Snap-on Franchisees Protect Their Businesses
Keeping your business running safely, effectively, and profitably is challenging. That’s why we have worked with HUB to develop a customized insurance solution to help you proactively protect your business so you can focus on what matters most.

Why HUB’s Snap-on Franchisee Insurance Program?
You, our Franchisee, are a valued customer. We pledge to work with you and our suppliers to make available a broad and competitive package for many of your insurance needs.
Our goal is to provide assistance in protecting your business, so you can focus on what matters most.
A low cost program that does not cover your loss is no bargain!
Franchisees are not obligated to participate in any insurance available through the Snap-on Franchisee Insurance Program. You are encouraged to shop these and any other forms of insurance coverage that may be appropriate for your business. If you seek a competing quotation, be sure to compare not only price, but also the scope of the protection afforded under that alternative. Ask questions about the service commitment to you as an insured of the insurance company and their broker.
Programs that Meet Contractual Needs
The Franchisee truck, General Liability, program meets the contractual insurance requirements of the Snap-on Franchise Agreement.
Automobile & Van Insurance
We recognize that your truck is not just a business tool - the success of your business depends on it. This is why the Franchisee Insurance Program offers you truck insurance with three significant benefits:
- Claims service provided by representatives that know your business and your vehicle and can get you back on the road fast.
- Coverage designed to meet the insurance requirements of your Franchise Agreement.
Requirement:The Franchise Agreement requires that the Franchisee obtain a commercial business auto liability insurance policy with limits of $1,000,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage; and physical damage coverage that includes collision; specified perils of fire, lightning, explosion, theft, windstorm, or hail; or comprehensive coverage in lieu of the specified perils and naming Snap-on Incorporated and its subsidiaries as an additional insured. - Competitive pricing based on group rating.
Commercial General Liability
Even though your business operates within a truck, your automobile liability policy does not provide all the liability coverages you need for in and around the truck. Commercial General Liability expands your liability protection adding coverages including product liability, completed operations and personal injury. Commercial General Liability is a requirement within your Franchisee Agreement.
Property Insurance
The property policy provides "All Risks" coverage of direct physical loss or damage to business assets that you own and are used in your business as a Snap-on Franchisee.
Limits of Liability
Actual Loss Sustained Business Interruption (Profits Form)
- Covers the loss of business income as a result of your vehicle being damaged and inoperable due to an insured peril, e.g., fire, theft, collision. Subject to a 24-hour waiting period.

Crime Insurance
Covers you for loss of money, securities and/or other property through the dishonest acts of Employees.
