Exhibiting work at craft shows is a big part of any artisan's livelihood. But it's not always easy to meet the insurance requirements, especially when they're different from one show to the next. Fortunately, if you're a member of the Craft Ontario, we've got you covered.
We've been providing insurance solutions to craft show exhibitors for more than 15 years. Our exclusive offering for Craft Ontario members provides up to $5 million in commercial general liability coverage.

Coverage Details
Coverage is available for:
- Commercial general liability (up to $5 million)
- Tenant’s legal liability broad form (up to $250,000)
This policy also includes:
- Blanket contractual liability
- Products and completed operations ($100,000 sublimit)
- Employees as additional insured
- Personal injury liability
- Cross liability clause
- $1000 Deductible
Conditions:
- Policy holder must be a member in good standing with Ontario Crafters Association
- For outdoor events, all heavy/loose items (e.g. inflatable kayak) must be secured
- Booth must be attended at all times during the event
- Show duration: Max 14 days
Exclusions:
- Abuse/Molestation/Harassment Exclusion
- Coverage Territory – Canada Only
- USA Operations Exclusion
- English Policy Agreement
- Contagion Disease Exclusion
- Cyber Liability Exclusion
- Electronic Data Exclusion Amendment
- Liquor Liability Exclusion
- Described Activities Exclusion – Sale of ineligible products: Ineligible product list from below will be scheduled here
- Event organizer/ venue added as Additional Insured, with respect to liability arising out of the operations of Named Insured
Ineligible Classes:
- Chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, cannabis, tobacco
- Vape pens and/or e-cigarettes
- Firearms/ ammunition /
- Fireworks, explosives
- Liquor
- Amusement devices (rides, inflatables etc),
- Body piercing, permanent tattooing
- Live animals
- Home-made lotions, soaps or beauty-care items – such items must be manufactured by a reputable company in North
- America or Europe
- Motorized vehicles
Premiums under this program are fully retained upon acceptance of payment. The Premiums ARE NOT PRO-RATED as they are based on number of shows you exhibit during the year.
That means the premium will not be refunded if the policy is cancelled by you before the policy expiry date.
Applicable taxes are not included in the costs indicated below:
