Nova Scotia Institute of Agrologists
Plant your practice on solid ground with Liability insurance exclusively for agrologists
Our Professional Errors and Omissions (E&O) Liability, Commercial General Liability and Property Insurance is custom-cut protection for members of the Nova Scotia Institute of Agrologists.
Agrology Professional Liability (E&O) insurance protects you against the cost of liability claims arising from errors, omissions or negligence in daily work as defined by your institute. A Cessation of Business Endorsement also applies, and extended coverage may be available if you need it.
If you have Professional Liability (E&O) insurance, you can also take on Commercial General Liability insurance — often a contractual requirement and always recommended. Commercial General Liability insurance for agrology professionals includes $1 million in liability coverage for third party forest fire-fighting expenses, and pollution liability can also be purchased.
Property Insurance to meet your specific needs is also available when you have Professional Liability (E&O) insurance, or combine Professional Liability (E&O) insurance with Commercial General Liability insurance.
Coverage Details
Here are some important details of the Nova Scotia Institute of Agrologists group insurance policy:
- Professional E&O liability coverage only applies for services that are usual and customary to the practice of a professional agrologist. If your practice goes beyond the services noted here, please contact HUB for alternative coverage options for your liability insurance needs.
- Coverage is provided for the firm and its employees while conducting business for the firm.
- Commercial general liability coverage can only be purchased if E&O coverage is in place.
- Defence costs are provided in excess to your policy limit.
- A cessation of business endorsement applies to the E&O policy (it is not required for the commercial general liability policy).
