Hub International Limited announced the appointments of John R. Curran as Vice President of Marketing, Darlene J. Jacus as Chief Information Officer, and Deborah K. Wilson as Chief Technology officer.
John R. Curran, Vice President of Marketing, will be responsible for the development of insurer relationships and industry contacts, identification and financial analysis of candidates for US acquisitions, and U.S-Canada cross-border program development. Curran, a graduate of Boston College with an MBA degree from the University of Hartford, comes to Hub International with over twenty-five years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, most recently as President of Morse, Payson & Noyes (Portland, Maine).
Darlene J. Jacus, Chief Information Officer, will oversee Hub International’s e-commerce operations, identify new business opportunities, act as an industry liaison and be responsible for the integration of emerging technologies. Jacus most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at Mack and Parker (Chicago, Illinois), a subsidiary of Hub International. Utilizing over twenty years of insurance industry experience and management, Jacus assisted in the implementation of one of the first internet sites for quoting, rating and issuing commercial program business.
Deborah K. Wilson, Chief Technology Officer, will be responsible for key representations of Hub International’s global technology strategies with an emphasis on new and emerging technologies, research and development, technology utilization, and process redesign by leveraging e-commerce and internet-based approaches for operational advantages. Wilson brings to Hub International 19 years of technology experience, with an emphasis in the insurance industry for 10 years. Wilson has served as a Senior Consultant to companies world-wide to develop, manage and deliver multi-national e-commerce and Customer Relationship Management initiatives.
In announcing the appointments, Martin A.
