Hub International Limited announced today a new client service facility, Advanced Benefit Resources Corp. (ABR), has been formed by Hub's Kaye Group subsidiary (Kaye). The new unit, based in Kaye's Woodbury, NY office, will provide Hub clients a broad complement of human resources, employee and retiree benefits and claims administrative services nationwide. ABR will also provide start-up companies and other smaller firms with a package of outsourcing services as well as 401(k) Plan placement and single invoice billing of all premiums and fees for benefits coverages. The unit will tailor a countrywide administrative support package designed to accommodate a client's differing needs at multiple locations. ABR can also provide online interface for both internal and external benefits communications.
In making the announcement, Robert N. Munao, President of both ABR and Kaye Benefits Consulting, Kaye's primary benefits division, said that ABR's mission is to partner with its client firms' human resources and benefits professionals and free them from time-consuming administrative detail.
Mr. Munao explained, ``HR and benefits professionals are important strategic players in helping their firms compete and prosper by attracting and nurturing talented employees. But the day-to-day details of running programs frequently interfere with these managers' larger, more useful roles. ABR solves this problem by acting as an extension of a client's HR or Benefits Department and offering one-stop solutions to the administration and communication of information for almost any kind of program for both active and retired employees.''
Discussing the ABR launch, Bruce Guthart, President of Hub's United States operations, said ``Our ongoing business plan is to broaden the package of services we offer and thereby add value to our client relationships. We're very pleased to announce ABR as a new component of that strategy. Now, whether or not Hub arranges the benefits coverages for a client, our ABR staff can manage their benefits programs, and other HR functions, more cost effectively and let the client focus greater attention on growing their business. We think this service will give especially meaningful relief to the managers of smaller and mid-size firms who must constantly juggle many demands on their time.''
