HUB TO HOST HEALTHCARE WORKPLACE SAFETY WEBINAR

HUB INTERNATIONAL TO HOST WEBINAR ON CREATING SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENTS WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

Chicago June 3, 2013 -

Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, will host a complimentary, educational webinar through the Hub International Risk Services division, discussing hospitals, healthcare, hazard communication and the globally harmonized system initiative. This webinar should be of interest to organizations within the healthcare industry in the US and will be held on June 6th at 1:00 pm EST/12:00 pm CST.

A safe work environment is an essential element of risk management for healthcare organizations. All employees with a chemical exposure from medical gases, sterilizing and disinfection agents, to toxic pharmaceuticals, to maintenance and every day housekeeping cleaners, are impacted by OSHA’s revised hazard communication standard. This webinar will discuss the various risks facing healthcare departments and operations and how everyone involved in employee safety, facilities management, housekeeping and pharmacy must be cognizant of the changes in hazard communication and how to comply appropriately. There are numerous resources available to assist in addressing workplace hazard communication that will be covered during this session.

Presenters on the call from Hub International include Guy Gioino, Vice President and Senior Risk Consultant; Albert “Win” Williams, Vice President and Risk Consultant; and James E. Burke, Senior Risk Consultant.
