Earlier this year, the National Office of the United Church of Canada reinstated Directors' & Officers' Liability Insurance coverage for all congregations (with protection including officers, employees, and volunteers) for the renewal period December 1, 2013 - December 1, 2014. This will continue for the renewal period December 1, 2014 - December 1, 2015. In this regard, this web page will facilitate:

  • Providing updated contact information for the person responsible for insurance at your congregation;
  • Payment of the $100 annual renewal premium by congregations that are not members of UCC Protect. Note, renewal payments will be processed commencing November 17, 2014.

At this time, All congregations are asked to:

  • Provide updated contact information for the person responsible for insurance at your congregation. You can do this quickly and easily by clicking here and completing a short form. 
    • If your congregation is an EXISTING UCC PROTECT MEMBER your work is done. No payment is required as it is included in your renewal billing. You will obtain your Certificate of Insurance after completing the form.
    • CONGREGATIONS THAT ARE NOT EXISTING UCC PROTECT MEMBERS will be asked to pay $100 for the continued coverage. You will be able to make this payment, obtain your certificate of insurance and update your contact information all at the same time commencing November 17, 2014.
