The Corporate Health and Wellness Association (CHWA) in conjunction with Corporate Wellness Magazine (CWM) annually recognizes leaders in the wellness industry for providing exemplary programs that drive health and wellness among employees. Deborah Deters, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for HUB International Limited was named a recipient of the 2011 Leadership Award.
Deb and her team have been a driving force in establishing a comprehensive wellness program for HUB International employees since she joined the organization in 2009. In addition, Deb and her team work closely with the HUB Employee Benefits practice group to review and validate best practices when incorporating wellness initiatives into clients’ health care programs.
Ms. Deters, who was one of 21 award winners, oversees all Human Resource strategic initiatives for HUB including employee benefits, talent acquisition and management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation, and payroll, and has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience.
