Supreme Court Decision on Health Care Reform & Its Impacts on Employers | 7/10/12, 12:00 PM EDT
Beginning March 26, the Supreme Court has scheduled three consecutive days of hearings to determine whether the sweeping federal health care reform law will stand, either in whole, in part, or not at all. The Justices may even decide to make challengers wait until after the law takes effect in 2014. A central issue is whether Congress had the power under the Constitution to create the individual mandate. Employer-related issues may or may not be addressed, but the decision will affect them either way, in addition to having major impacts on the health insurance industry as a whole. A published Court opinion is expected by late June. This early July webinar will discuss what the new decision means to organizations sponsoring group health plans and to their individual employees.
