Senior Vice President

Deborah Deters is senior vice president, Human Resources for HUB International. Ms. Deters oversees all Human Resource strategic initiatives including employee benefits, talent acquisition and management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and payroll. She is also a member of the company’s executive management team.

Deters has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources at several corporations. Her most recent experience was senior vice president of Human Resources for Bally Total Fitness, the largest operator in the fitness industry. In this role she oversaw employee compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, risk management, security, and payroll. Prior to Bally Total Fitness she held similar HR positions at Bally Entertainment and Bally Manufacturing, Foster Higgins, and Johnson Higgins.

Deters has a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in psychology from Indiana University. She belongs to the Society of Human Resource Professional (SPHR), and is a Certified Benefit Professional (CBP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

Deters is also a volunteer for the Mayors Single Mothers Task Force through the Eleanor Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
